When you were a child, did you want to build a tree fort or secret hideaway that would be your special place? You gathered the basic things you had around your house, in your garage, and maybe what you could borrow or salvage from your friends and neighbors. Then you realized that you couldn’t do it all yourself. You needed help to have it be what you want.  As your project came to life before your eyes, everyone involved became more and more excited. And what you learned is the result or working together is always bigger than what you could have done alone.

Building a home is the same way. In order to have the best, you look for people who have skills greater than yours. If it takes a village to raise a child, it takes every citizen to get our city be the way we want it.
